About DogRunRide

I’ve spent more than two decades chasing miles — on foot, on the bike, and across trails that have shaped who I am. Endurance training has always been my way of staying grounded. Five Ironman races later, I still love the feeling of pushing myself out the door, breathing in the morning air, and finding that quiet rhythm only the outdoors can give.
When I brought home my Aussie Heeler, everything changed in the best way. He was smart, energetic, and full of that working‑dog fire. I knew he needed more than a backyard. He needed purpose. He needed movement. He needed adventure.
So I started taking him with me — first on walks, then on runs, then eventually on rides and long hikes. We learned each other’s pace. We figured out how to communicate. And somewhere along the way, he became my favorite training partner.
People would stop me constantly:
“How does he run next to you like that?”
“How do you keep him focused off‑leash?”
“How do you get him to ignore other dogs?”
The truth is, there’s no magic trick.
Just time, consistency, and a belief I hold deeply:
With a little training, our dogs can join us on almost any adventure.
A verse that has shaped my life — and this brand — is 1 Corinthians 9:24–25, where Paul talks about running the race with purpose and discipline. That mindset has carried me through Ironmans, through training my dog, and through building DogRunRide. It’s a reminder that the way we show up matters. The effort matters. The heart behind it matters.
Over the years, I’ve tried every kind of gear, supplement, and recovery product you can imagine. Some were great. Most weren’t. And I realized something important:
I only want to share products I actually trust — the ones I use with my own dog.
That’s why DogRunRide exists.
It’s not a big‑box pet store.
It’s not a random collection of trendy items.
It’s a curated space built from real miles, real training, and real experience with a dog who’s been on every trail, every ride, and every adventure with me.
Because I’m not trying to be like the big companies, some products may take a little longer to arrive — usually 5–15 days. That’s part of choosing quality over speed, intention over convenience, and staying true to the heart of this brand.
DogRunRide is for people like us — the ones who feel most alive outside, who believe our dogs deserve to be part of the journey, and who know that adventure is better when you share it.
If you’re ready to bring your dog into your miles, your trails, and your everyday adventures, you’re in the right place.
Let’s run this race with purpose — and bring our dogs with us every step of the way.
